Седум Недела ! 9/29/2021

 Здраво !! (kinda interesting but in Macedonian hello essentially means "to health !")

Well I officially have another week down and I'm starting to realize how soon I'll be leaving for field. Funny story about that :))) Yesterday Сестра Чембрлен and I both received our flight plans !! BUT they were in fact not to Nashville, or Macedonia and were instead to Denver leaving a week earlier than we had expected aha so that was interesting. During our comp study, we decided we should probably figure out what the heck happened because it was giving us all this information for the Denver South mission like we had been assigned to serve there. SO after I lost the rock paper scissors battle, I called church travel in Salt Lake and after a lovely 20 minutes on the phone, my new friend Rebecca figured out that it was not in fact just my comp and I that had received these incorrect travel plans, but also all the missionaries that were supposed to be heading out to Nashville with us. They ended up canceling those tickets and I should be getting a new itinerary in the next week. I am just #blessed #grateful that I called and did not just end up going to Denver a week early lol. ***Update as I was writing this I got an "updated" travel plans from Salt Lake but it happens to be the exact same ones I got yesterday to Denver aha. So I am currently on hold yet again with church travel plans to figure it out :/

Not going to lie, the MTC is kinda a drag after being stuck at home in front of a computer for months on end and last week I was pretty much over it. BUT this week was better and I'm pushing through. I have just less than one month left until I kick it to Nashville so I am trying to utilize all this time to really study the language and the important gospel principles. It has helped me so much to see this time as a wonderful opportunity to prepare, rather than being confined to being at home. Easier said than done haha but it is getting better.

This week Сестра Чембрлен and I taught Lila the second half of the Restoration lesson. I got to share the First Vision in Macedonian !! It was such a cool experience. It was soo hard for me to memorize but I was able to do it and testify to her that I knew it was true, that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet of God and through him, God restored the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. Which is so important !!! We have the opportunity this weekend to listen to living prophets, called by God to teach us and help guide us, in General Conference! Take full advantage of this opportunity and prayerfully consider questions or concerns you have and then listen to conference, but more importantly listen to what the spirit teaches you as you listen to the speakers.

I love you all, I love this gospel and I love Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to have a knowledge of living prophets who direct the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Црквата на Исус Христос на Светците од Подоцнежните дни!). I know prophets teach the word of God and can give us guidance in these difficult times.

- My favorite book !! I found my Bulgarian Book of Mormon in my stuff I packed for my grandmas house since we're staying here while we move into our new house. ANYWHO seriously read it! It is the BEST resource we have to learn more about God, our purpose on Earth and what we need to do to return back to Heavenly Father. You can read it in English tho instead :)
