Tennesse to Macedonia to Serve

  Zdravooooo Welcome back to another week of sestra Jensen trying to survive in the backwoods, nearly all Spanish speaking, land of Morgantown, Kentucky 🤠🤠🤠 Some супер things from this week: -had my first legit bashing lesson (we tried to yeet out of that lesson so fast but we also had members on the phone with us so that was a rip. Bless that member tho because he said the sweetest prayer at the end) -hermana turville and I hosted our missions weekly live event last Saturday!   Howdy yall 🤠!! This week was not toooo exciting especially because these flipping winter storms keep making us stay inside🙃 but alas here we are. Update on my visa... she is nonexistant✌ So keep sestra j in your prayers because guess who are officially the sisters (sestra Chamberlain and I) who have visa waited the longest for Macedonia. BUT it's okay because I trust that the Lord knows better than I do where I need to be.  It's been fun being in a trio but definitely different than I thought ahaha. It's already been confusing having 2 sister jensens ahaha. Now it's Jensen Jensen and Turville and it sounds like a Lawfirm lol We've had to take a couple of people off date here which is super sad. We're working really hard to find solid people who are ready to progress.   Hola hola !!! First things first !! Transfer news !?! Hermana Turville and I are staying in Morgantown and becoming a trio and getting... Hermana Jensen. Sooo ahah it'll be a little funny to have 2 sister jensens and only slightly confusing haha. We're going tomorrow morning to Nashville to pick her up ! Looks like imma be keeping up my Spanish :)))) Yesterday morning, Hermana Turville and I got a call from President which was kinda nerve racking ahah because we had no idea why he was calling. Turns out.... he invited us to join a zoom devotional with Elder Ulisses S Soares ! It was so dope. It was an MTC devotional that was broadcasted but there were about 15-20 missionaries invited from across the world to join on zoom. Then after the devotional was over the missionaries invited to join got to talk with Elder Soares for about 15 minutes.   Dobar den !! Welllll last pday got extra interesting :))) just as we had pulled into the parking lot to meet with our district for lunch our zoneleaders called us and told us we had to all go home immediately and shelter in place for a storm that was coming. Nothing tooooo wild ended up happening because the tornado didn't end up touching down so that was bueno news i guess. Nothing quite like several tornadoes not in tornado season tho ahaha.  The biggest miracle this week is that our friend Devin and all 4 of his boys came to church this week!!! He has been saying that they would come to church for months and then he'd always get too scared and not come. Him and 2 of his boys were even on date to get baptized, but then they completely stopped responding to us for weeks and we had to stop teaching them. Then a miracle happened!   Happy New Year!! Ngl no idea if my email title is even how you say happy new year in Macedonian but ahah u win some u lose some.  Some interesno things this week: -I said a prayer in Spanish during a lesson this week! I legit had never done that before so that was exciting and it was with the cutest little Guatemalan family! I can say a couple things to try and help in lessons but honestly it's really hard because this is def a Spanish area and I def do not speak Spanish.  -we went to a funeral which was definitely not something I expected to do as a missionary. It was for someone we'd never met and we gave a prayer and read a poem -had the legit wildest lightening storm last night like mad wild  -we found a mega old area book from 2007-2009 in our apartment that we've been going through  -we saw a car catch on fire -I gave a talk on sunday and did all the music so it was just lowkey a one woman show ahaha We started teaching the coolest guy named Jesus!!
