Zdravooooo
Welcome back to another week of sestra Jensen trying to survive in the backwoods, nearly all Spanish speaking, land of Morgantown, Kentucky 🤠🤠🤠
Some супер things from this week:
-had my first legit bashing lesson (we tried to yeet out of that lesson so fast but we also had members on the phone with us so that was a rip. Bless that member tho because he said the sweetest prayer at the end)
-hermana turville and I hosted our missions weekly live event last Saturday! If u wanna go check it out hop onto the believe. page on Facebook and watch the recent bonfire. Althoughhhhh I'll warn u I have never felt more uncomfortable then having to be in front of a camera then ahaha so no judgment
-also had a Spanish bashing lesson but I was just vibing there reading books to their daughter
-found some amazing people! And some families:)))
-had an awesome lesson with our friend Kendra and about 2 minutes into our lesson she went and grabbed her sister to join. It was so cool! They have both been praying and wanting to go back to church but have been confused on what to do. That's when we found them and now they're coming to church with us on Sunday!
This week has honestly been pretty difficult, but good or bad news that just kinda be how it be as a missionary. There have been a couple things I've been thinking and praying about that have made a lot of things really difficult. One of my favorite scriptures this week is 2 nephi 2:24 "But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things." There are so so sooo many things I don't understand, but I do know God loves us and I know he knows perfectly why things do or don't happen. I trust that he has a perfect plan and is aware of us.
I love yall so much! And I love getting to teach people all day every day about the joy that I feel from following Christ!
Со љубов,
Сестра Џенсен
