seek and expect MIRACLES May 25, 2022
ZDRAVO VIE !!
Missions are a wild thing. Literally nothing goes as expected. Lessons fall through, unplanned lessons happen, we run late to everything, covid happens, etc, etc, etc.
But yall, today, the most unexpected, overly expected miracle happened... I GOT MY VISA! For real, not just kinda, not just maybe, not just you will know next week. When it has been this long and permanent reassignment looms over you, this kinda thing is definitely nothing short of a miracle. God is so good and I am beyond blessed that he let serve in 2 missions:) I'll be yeeting out June 20th so lots of prayers that nothing dramatic changes because that seems to be Macedonia's favorite thing to do.
I have hardly any time left but a huge miracle this week:
☆ We saw our friend Shawn outside last Monday while we were working out and talked to her! We had tried to set up some teaching appointments with her but she had gotten too busy. We ended up talking to her for 45 minutes right then and there because she was having such a hard day. Amongst other things she has back problems and so we suggested a priesthood blessing. She immediately said yes and we were able to set it up with the elders for a couple days later. It was SUCH a tender thing to teach her with them and be there when she got the blessing. She kept saying how she knew she was in the right place and that God led us to her. Unfortunately, we live in the elders' area which means she does too... but it doesn't matter too much:) we're just happy to be a part of it
I've been thinking a lot about the song I am a Child of God. It's such a sweet song! The line "I am a child of God, and he has sent me here" has been sticking out to me so much lately (maybe because that's the only line I can remember in Macedonian ahaha) but isn't that so cool?! Like not only are we God's children, but he knows where we are and has sent us here to earth because he knows it's what's best for us, even if it's hard, even when we're in situations that we don't understand. ALL things are for our experience.
Love you all<3 don't forget you are a child of God and help someone else remember that too.
Со љубов,
Сестра Џенсен
Pictures: pretty much just lots of Tennessee rain storms and we went to the temple for a recent convert baptism of my comp!
