Welcome back to the Sis Jeni show:) hopefully I don't bore the heck out of yall but here's the little update for the week:

-we met the COOLEST guy Ilce this week! He found us through a Facebook add and is sooo interested. We met with him in Struga Tuesday evening which was a miracle in and of itself because we almost canceled on him. Anywho the Cafe we were at was also def a bar so that was a first for me🙃 and the music was so loud I could hardly hear him even though we sat outside... It was really hard for me to understand him, a)because I couldn't hear him and b)because my Macedonian do be on the struggle bus but literally 10 minutes in he goes, "how can I become a member?" Like what?! We gave him a book of Mormon and by the next day he had already read through Jacob and loves it

-had the sweetest lesson with our friend Linda! She's from Finland and speaks like a thousand different languages and currently we're actually teaching her Macedonian. Anywho she's awesome and has so much potential, plz pray for her<3

-the language is coming, albeit very very slowly. It's frustrating to be at almost a year and to feel like I'm starting over. BUT there were some wins this week and my comprehension is slowly increasing so now I can at least pick out a couple words in what people are saying. I'm still trying to figure out why this tiny, nearly forgotten country had to choose one of the hardest languages🤠🤑🇲🇰

Some of these pics def be from last week but the cool thing today was we came back up to Skopje!! Before we also went to this lake that borders Greece and Albania and we got to get in up to our knees😎
