Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods August 8, 2022

 Hey hey hey !!

Soooo some sad/exciting news first !! We got transfer call this week and I'm getting transferred to Skopje (the capital !) to be with Sister Jo (who is actually also Sister Jensen, wild.) I'm so excited because I love Skopje and Sister Jo but it's also so sad to leave Sister Lea and Ohrid. Good news is I'll be back to serve in Ohrid at some point and I'll see Sister Lea every week still:)
Now time for some pics... here's some yummy food from this week

We went to this flamenco concert in the amphitheater with our member Natasa!! It was so cool, although we left early because #curfew and we were actually just standing outside the amphitheater because we didn't wanna pay for it.

Funny story:
We had 3 friends at church: Orle, Goce, and Nikola! It was so exciting especially because it was fast Sunday which meant we had a testimony meeting....... which led to both Goce and Orle sharing there testimonies... Goce's was short and sincere and Orle's was about 15 minutes and all about how love is the most important thing and this life doesn't super matter..... which led to Orle and Goce just talking back and forth while Orle was at the pulpit talking. Very interesting but I guess that's what happens when church consists of 4 missionaries, 1 member, and 3 friends.
After finishing one wonderful but challenging transfer here I have reflected a lot on how amazing the opportunity I have to be here is. Which leads me to the title of my email and one of my favorite Thomas Paine quotes: "What we obtain too cheaply we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods." I don't think I could have truly understood how amazing and special and quirky and all the most wild of things Macedonia is without my time in my reassignment. This has been truly the most amazing place to be in and among people I love so much. I am grateful for a God who loves me enough to let me go through hard things.
Mnogu ve sakam! Imajte najdobra nedala!!
So ljubov,
Sestra Jeni
